Alyska Bailey Peterson began photographing her world as a small child, and started working professionally in 1997. Past clients have included school districts, universities, local non-profits, print publications and private individuals.

The majority of alyska's current work features candid portraiture of both people and animals, and an ever-growing expanse of wedding and fine art photography. With roots in both still and motion picture film, she has always been attracted to the documentary style, reflected in the somewhat untraditional, unposed angle of her work.

She was joined in 2001 by a second photographer, Jeffrey Peterson, who assists in photographing the majority of the studio's weddings and other event bookings, as well as post-production and keeping the technical aspects of the site in order.
