30. April 2008 : PK at the UW Spring Art Fair!
Spring is Here!Join PointyKitty Studios Friday, May 9th on the University of Wisconsin's beautiful Library Mall, nestled in between the UW's Memorial Library, the Memorial Union, and the Wisconsin Historical Society buildings for a pre-mother's day art fair event. Hours for the fair are 10am - 5pm.
We'll be showcasing a lot of new work that was recently finished, and it's up to you to find the perfect one for that special mother in your life!
2. January 2008 : New Years Sale!
Ring in the new year with all sorts of new pieces on sale in the studio store. We're clearing the way to create new pieces for the 2008 season, and you can help!
Check out the selection here, tell your friends, and pick up something shiny for a fraction of our usual retail prices!
7. December 2007 : Happy Holidays from the Studio!
Happy holidays from PointyKitty Studios! While our holiday show season is over, you can still pick up new pieces online, or at area retailers. PointyKitty jewelry is currently carried at Savoir Faire, located in Greenway Station in Middleton, Wisconsin, and at Absolutely Art on the East side of Madison.
In addition to checking out new work here and at those lovely stores, check out our annual end-of-year sale, with fresh markdowns so we can make room for lots of new work in the coming year! I'll be adding new piece to both the new items and sale sections as soon as i finish photographing the few dozen pair of earrings and necklaces i currently have waiting for me in the studio!
9. October 2007 : Holiday Shows on the Schedule!
The winter months are fast approaching, and as our farmer's market season draws to a close, we'll have just one or two holiday shows for you to see our late fall and holiday collections in person.We'll still be at the Dane County Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings from 8am-2pm until November 3rd. Take a look at our new fall pieces, and see what specials we've got running -- they'll be different every weekend!
On Friday, November 2, we'll be vending at the 2007 American Family Art and Craft Fair at their Corporate Headquarters on the East Side of Madison.
On Saturday, December 1st, the studio will be showcasing our 2007 holiday collection at the DeForest Winterfest Celebration Art Fair.
26. September 2007 : Madison Open Art Studios!
Ever wonder what goes on inside the studio of an artist?
Join Alyska of PointyKitty Studios and 150 other local artists for a pre-Open Art Studios group exhibition of works at the Overture Center in downtown Madison. The reception will take place on Friday, September 28, from 5-9pm, as a kickoff to the following weekend's Open Art Studios event.
On October 6th and 7th, PointyKitty Studios will be participating in Madison's Open Art Studios event.
Madison Area Open Art Studios is an annual event celebrating the diversity and vitality of the visual arts in the Madison-area. Over 150 artists open their studios to the public for the weekend.
Visitors can look at art, talk with artists, and learn about technique and craft, all in an open-house, informal environment.

we're right in the thick of our summer show season, so if you haven't had a chance to make it down to the dane county farmer's market to see us on saturday mornings, here's two more opportunities! we'll be at the art fair on the green in la crosse, wisconsin, this weekend, and out at greenway station's artfest in middleton, wisconsin, next weekend!

Madison Area Open Art Studios is an annual event celebrating the diversity and vitality of the visual arts in the Madison-area. Over 150 artists open their studios to the public for the weekend.
Visitors can look at art, talk with artists, and learn about technique and craft, all in an open-house, informal environment.
28. April 2007 : PointyKitty at CONvergence!
Join PointyKitty Studios in the Dealers room of the CONvergence science fiction and fantasy convention at the Sheraton Hotel South in Bloomington, Minnesota July 6-8th.
Themed "Creature Feature" this year, the convention features an Art Show, multiple discussion panels, guests of honor, a Masquerade ball, free food and drink for attendees, and dozens of room parties.

16. April 2007 : Farmer's Market Opens Saturday!
Come visit! PointyKitty Studios will once again be vending at the Dane County Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 8am-2pm through the first weekend in November of this year. We'll be located at the intersection of State Street and Capitol Square (our weekly site may move around a bit, but if we're not at another show, we'll be there!)
While at the market, we'll be running a number of special sales, have artist demonstrations, and have pieces available that you won't find for sale in our online store. So while you're perusing the fruits (and veggies and cheeses) of the other vendors' labors, stop by, say hello, and pick up a pretty shiny or two to take home with you!
